Roufy Nasution is an Indonesian film director and writer was born in Jakarta, 12 December 1994. His short films has been screened in various festivals; Chennai International Short Film Festival (2017), and Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (2016). His film, The Hotels Water (2017) and The Fire Longing For The Mist (2018), got Special Mention Jury Awards, in ReelOzInd Australia-Indonesia Film Festival (2017 & 2018), He believes a film should be a poetic, humorous, and entertaining experience. His Visual Communication Design's degree, becomes his enormous influence in translating his vision. His latest short, The Fire Longing for The Mist (2018), narrated Sujiwo Tejo's Bima's Dream, using a primarily realistic approach yet utilizing its magical elements. He craft some of audio visual work such web-series; The Substitute Woman (2018), music videos, commercial, short movies, and The Boy With Moving Image is his first feature film. ​
