Biography
Eric Xandra Thirteen (real name) is an American horror director. He spent his 20's as a software engineer in Silicon Valley before leaving the tech industry to direct and produce film in Los Angeles. He aims to use today's modern genre tropes to tell emotionally complicated horror stories.
In addition to being the executive producer on Rob Zombie's 31 and the Adam Rifkin / Penn Jillette feature called Director's Cut, Thirteen actively speaks on mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and suicide. His short film Disposition, which he wrote and directed, shows the day to day struggle of a woman stalked by depression and envisioning how she might end her own life.
Thirteen is also the host and producer of Double Feature, one of the longest running film podcasts to date. Double Feature is available on iTunes, Amazon, and Apple Music.
