Biography
Originally from Belgium, Zoé grew up travelling the world. From Africa to Australia, she exposed herself to a variety cultures. At 17, Zoé left Sydney, Australia to attend the International Film School of Paris.
After working on various narrative and documentary projects throughout Europe, she was chosen to participate in the Berlin Film Festival Talent Campus #6. That same year, she was also accepted into the world famous directing program of the American Film Institute during which she was awarded the “Hal and Robyn Berson” scholarship for excellence in directing.
In 2011, she graduated the youngest and with honors after finishing her thesis film, "THIS IS NOT AN UMBRELLA", which was chosen to showcase at the Directors Guild of America and went on to more festivals around the world.
Zoé then moved to Europe, spending her time between Brussels, Paris, and L.A. She is now working as a writer/director (both in French and English), on her own projects or supporting others as a writer or script consultant.
Her first feature film Jumbo premiered at the Sundance film festival 2020, in the world dramatic competition.
