Thisen Umagiliya is a 20 year old filmmaker from Sri Lanka. He likes to explore unconventional themes & ideas through his work. His debut short film Catharsis won the most promising filmmaker award at the Agenda 14 Short Film Festival, the longest running short film festival in Sri Lanka. He has now completed work on his second short film "Distance" which is set to have it's world premiere at the 18th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival.
