Biography
Alexandre Desplat is a french film composer. He has received seven Academy Award nominations (winning two), seven BAFTA nominations (winning three), seven Golden Globe nominations (winning two) and six Grammy nominations (winning two).
In 2011, Desplat won his first British Academy Film Award for his score for The King's Speech. Among various projects, Desplat has worked on a variety of successful Hollywood films including The Queen, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, New Moon, Fantastic Mr. Fox and both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
