Vishal Handa is a British-Indian director, actor, choreographer and writer. He is an established filmmaker and theatre director in Mumbai. He shares his time between theatre and film and has directed theatre productions which have toured the country as well as over 20 music videos and several ads. In front of the camera, Vishal has acted in both independent and commercial cinema including Kohrra (Clean Slate Filmz - Netflix) and Dream Girl 2 (Balaji Telefilms - theatrical release) in 2023. He has collaborated with the NCPA and National Theatre UK for the primary landmark year of National Theatre Connections in India. A trained method actor, Vishal teaches at The Jeff Goldberg Studio (since 2016), a prestigious method acting school in the heart of the Hindi Film Industry.
