Manuela, is a 14-year-old girl who has been abused by her stepfather since her widowed mother decided to rebuild her life. After a plane crash that will cost her stepfather's life, Manuela rebels to everything around her, distancing herself from her mother and having to face a lonely adolescence, hiding with fear her painful secret and living harsh experiences that will make her grow to finally be ready to face the abuser, get up, look to the future and keep walking.
