Victor Robinson moves into a new country home with his family. Their son, Jesse, discovers an old Edison invention. When they turn on the machine, they start to hear kids playing and laughing. Their autistic daughter, Meaghan, starts to paint and sing like never before, weird events take place in the house, and strange figures are burned into the grass. They believe Meaghan is receiving messages from the unsolved murder years before. Even worse, one of the Robinson's neighbors is a child murderer; the spirits of the children must make themselves known before he strikes again.
