María, a nurse whose daughter was killed by three militiamen, travels from Colombia to Spain with her younger son in order to take revenge from one of the killers, a man called Iván. She also meets Gonzalo, a school psychologist, who will unexpectedly help her through her obsessive research. Meanwhile, Iván and his girlfriend's life is just about to change forever.
