Biography
Peter Samuel Jason - (son of a Kenyan geologist and English translator from Russia) was born in Moscow. Pete studied at the Moscow Boys' Choir, where he sang classical and spiritual repertoire. And after graduating from school he entered the school of variety and circus at the department of pop vocals. Already at the age of 14, Pete begins his professional career. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Russian Blacks group, created by his older brother, a professional musician and talented composer. The brother wrote songs that the band performed with great success. After participating in various television shows, competitions and music programs ("Step to Parnassus", "Star Rain", "50x50", "Morning Star"), frequent and lengthy tours throughout the former Soviet Union followed. There were also foreign trips. But that didn't stop her from studying. In 1996, Peter Jason graduated from the School of Variety and Circus and recorded his first solo album, A Thousand Nights. All the songs on this album were written by Pete himself. Two years later, in 1998, Peter Jason became a member of the Prime Minister group, which still occupies a confident position in all charts, does not leave the pages of youth magazines and newspapers. In 2002, the group "Prime Minister" represented Russia at the international television contest "Eurovision-2002" and entered the top ten winners.
